STEP ONE: SELECT BACKGROUND COLOR
LESSON OBJECTIVE
Given the final colored outline on Procreate, the student can navigate to the Background layer to select a solid color with the color wheel, other than the default white, as the background.
Watch this video to learn how to select a solid background color for your illustration.
Select "Background color" layer in Layers panel
Choose a background color that matches a complementary color in the illustration
Make sure the color panel is set to "disc"
Now that you know how to select a background color, let's learn how to remove the reference photo.
